same story, different way...

Ignation Meditation
To really get the best from this you need to find at least 10 minutes by yourself either indoors or out in the lovely fresh December air, away from distractions. Are you up for it?

Make sure you have a Bible with you that you can refer to as the story progresses.

The Ignation Way
Weird name, but this dude St Ignatius of Loyola hung out in Spain during the 16th Century. And if anyone asks you what on earth he was all about, then tell them that he founded a movement called The Society Of Jesus and taught a form of meditation called the 'Application of the Senses'.

What's All That About?
Ignatius taught that the person meditating should enter into and picture the various scenes in scripture; putting themselves right in the thick of the action. For example, someone might picture themselves as one of the disciples watching Jesus heal someone, or even being a character like Jairus, pleading with Jesus to come and heal his dying daughter.

Fancy Giving It A Go?
Ok then. Read either of the following by clicking on the link or thumbing through your Bible:

Matthew 1:18 - 2:12

Matthew 2:13-23

Luke 1: 26-38
